Mr Chau performed my total hip replacement. Everything has gone well. I would not hesitate to see him again for any further orthopaedic issues.

At my first appointment with Mr Chou , I felt totally at ease. He showed me my x-ray and explained what he could do for me. and asked me if I had any questions. He came to see me after my operation and told me, with a smile, that the operation went very well and that I would be able to go home. Again at my last appointment I didn’t feel hurried, he collected me from the waiting room and asked me how I had been going. He answered the questions I had, and again gave me confidence and if I had problems I could contact, which I’m sure I won’t!

On meeting Mr Chou the first time I was completely confident that I would be in good hands. His manner was totally professional and assured. Mr Chou explained in detail what the procedure would entail. The operation was now seven weeks ago and I'm making good progress with my recovery. I'm very very pleased to have had Mr Chou perform my surgery.

I can not reccomend Dr Chou and the team at the Spire Lea hospital cambridge enough. I have had both of my hips replaced first one in April, second in August. Resulting in me no longer being wheelchair bound and starting to get my life back being able to walk again and slowly do every day tasks I couldn't before. From my first meeting with Dr Chau his care and compassion to help me has been outstanding, he listened, he knew how bad I was physically, emotionally and promised he would get my operations done as quickly as possible and get me walking again. True to his word he did and I no longer need my wheelchair. He is an amazing man and thank him for everything.

Meeting anyone for the first time an initial impression is formed. From my first meeting with Mr Chou I had the utmost confidence in him . His professional non patronising obviously knowledgeable explanations of what my procedure would entail put me completely at ease to be placing myself in his capable hands .He explained in detail showing me on x-ray and diagrams how he proposed to proceed. The operating team were deserving of my admiration. At each stage I was made fully aware of what was going to happen. Post operation the nursing care was exemplary and I am very happy with my progress. After such a successful outcome for my procedure I feel I have been given back my life and now in order to make Mr Chou's work complete I have to take the excellent physiotherapy advise which I have been given and put in the effort to fully effect a return to a fully functioning lifestyle. I fully recommended Mr Chou and the team at Spire.
